Whenever you see T-Rex in a movie it seems like he is about to swallow a person whole. He was big enough to do this. His head was a little smaller than a compact car and he had huge teeth (see below for a picture of one of his teeth) many of his teeth were over 6 inches long! But was he this way in real life? Let's look at the evidence.

1) The Bible says in the beginning God made all the animals eat plants (fruit, seed, grain, etc..) So we know in the beginning even T-Rex was not supposed to eat meat.
Genesis 1:29-30
And God said, "See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food. Also, to every beast of the earth, to every bird of the air, and to everything that creeps on the earth, in which there is life, I have given every green herb for food" . . .
2) Since T-Rex has sharp teeth doesn't that make him a meat eater? - Look at this picture:
Look at this animals teeth - what did it eat?
This skull belonged to a fruit bat - it ate fruit, but had very sharp teeth
Think about Panda bears, they have very sharp teeth. They need sharp teeth to eat bamboo!
It sounds like the Bible was right all along.
Still T-Rex makes a great monster for movies, and it's o.k. to pretend,
but remember the Bible is right and always will be.
